https://www.depict.org/2017/picking-sides/?category_request=2017 the first video ill be talking about is picking sides made by Dotty Kultys and Beatrize Pinto. This short clip shows how a man is asleep on a boat with his dog and then he suddenly wakes up to 2 massive ships fighting each other. At the start of the video it was nice and peaceful with relaxing sound of water splashing and then as soon as the 2 ships came by it all started to get really loud with loud bangs of gunfire which stopped all the peace that was there at the beginning of the video. Another thing to point out is how the colors in the video changed from clear nice blue and white to misty red and grey which perhaps illustrates the anger between the 2 ships. our 2 main characters in this video are the man sleeping on his little boat and the dog. at first they were just relaxing in their boat, as the man was sleeping without a care of whats going on around him, while the dog was watching him until the w ships started
